Become a Caregiver

Caregiving at Newport Home Health is steady, meaningful work helping seniors and adults with disabilities live safely at home. We hire caregivers and personal care attendants across Dallas–Fort Worth, Houston, and San Antonio — from experienced professionals to first-time caregivers ready to learn.

Why caregivers choose Newport

  • Flexible scheduling — full-time, part-time, and floater shifts that work around your life.
  • Simple clock-in — visits are verified electronically (EVV), and our office team helps you when something goes wrong with a punch.
  • A real support team — you are never on your own; our coordinators answer the phone and know your clients.
  • Entry-level friendly — no experience required for attendant roles; see how we train our caregivers.
  • Equal opportunity employer — we hire based on care, reliability, and character.

Roles we hire for

  • Caregivers / Personal Care Attendants (PAS) — help clients with daily living: bathing, dressing, meals, light housekeeping, errands, and companionship.
  • CDS family caregivers — already caring for a family member on Medicaid STAR+PLUS? You may be able to get paid for the care you already provide.
  • Entry-level attendants — start with training and a mentor; many of our best caregivers began with zero experience.

Where we are hiring

We serve families across three Texas regions, and hire in each: Dallas–Fort Worth (Dallas, Tarrant, Collin, Denton, Johnson and surrounding counties), Greater Houston, and San Antonio.
