What respite care covers
Respite care is short-term, in-home support that gives a family caregiver scheduled time off — without leaving their loved one alone or moving them to a facility.
While the family caregiver is away, a Newport caregiver steps in and provides the same daily support: bathing, dressing, meals, mobility, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and companionship. The household routine continues largely unchanged.
